What We have been up to...

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. So I will give a brief update of what we or mostly I have been up to. Lets just say that everytime I am pregnant and hit about 6 weeks to my due date I go through this crazy nesting phase. I realize most people do this, but my husband seems to think I am it extreme. So on that note I have been really busy the last month. I refinished a dresser, its not perfect but not bad for my first attempt. I also decided that I wanted to move my girls to the spare bedroom so the baby could have their old room that is next to the master bedroom. That of course opened up a whole can of worms. First I had to clean out the spare bedroom. Then I went through all the kids closets and drawers and cleaned out clothes that no longer fit. Then I painted the spare bedroom and moved furniture (with the help of Chad of course). The decorating of the bedroom is still in the process. Of course when I finished that room I decided that I couldn't put the new baby boy in the girls old purple room. So that room too needed a paint job. I decided to go neutral in that room so hopefully I won't feel the need to paint it again. I must give thanks to my wonderful mother and brother Ethan for helping do all of this painting. After all I am very pregnant.
We also had to move little Lexi to a big girl bed so the baby could have the crib. I am happy to report that went fairly well. And of course I had to pull out all the baby boy clothes and blankets and wash and clean everything. I think I can now say that I am done nesting because I have no more energy. I have always been early delivering my kids so we hoped that it would come over the weekend you know because dad was home and that would be convenient, but we all know babies don't come when we desire. It was actually a blessing in disguise because the kids got sick and so did dad. I think they are all on the mend now so I can disinfect the house and get the germs out of here. Needless to say the baby could come anytime I am dilated to almost a 4 and 90% effaced so any day now. I think he is waiting until the sickness is all gone. So I am officially due in 2 weeks from today and I think we are all ready except for a name, but that will come. At least we are agreeing on a few finally.
Anyway, that didn't end up being very brief, but that in a nutshell is what I have been up to. I will try to post pictures later of the newly painted rooms but I havn't taken pictures yet. So I will need to get right on that.
