Quiet Weekend

Chad and I got to go to Vegas for the weekend without the kids. Chad was taking a course there and I was well, pretty much relaxing and enjoying some quiet me time. The kids stayed home with my parents and they of course had a great time and I don't think they missed me a bit. I enjoyed sleeping in and shopping by myself and even taking a nap, and yes I missed the kids. Isn't it funny how you look so forward to going away (and it is nice, don't get me wrong) and then while you are gone you do a lot of thinking about the kids and wondering how they are doing. Anyway a big thank you to my parents for watching the kids. It was nice for a change to only have to get myself ready.

I attached some pictures of Evan and Hannah at gymnastics from the other day. Evan can climb all the way to the top of the rope but the picture didn't turn out so well so I didn't bother posting it. But wow look at the concentration.

Glad you had such a relaxing weekend! I feel like we haven't seen the fam in awhile.

I can't believe how strong Evan is! I'm sure he can show me up...my arms are weak! Hannah looks like she belongs on the beam...kindof like her mom :)
